About Our Story at Driftwood Counselling
If you've been living with anxiety, OCD, or tics for a while, you probably already know that just trying harder doesn't cut it. You've likely tried that. A lot. And yet here you are - which honestly takes courage.
Driftwood Counselling exists for people who are ready to try something different. The work here is rooted in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), which has some of the strongest research behind it for anxiety and OCD. That said, this isn't a paint-by-numbers approach. How ERP looks in practice is shaped around you — your patterns, what's getting in the way, and the kind of life you're working toward.
Sessions are genuinely collaborative. You'll never be handed a plan without understanding why, and your comfort and pace matter throughout the process. The relationship between client and therapist is part of what makes this work — not just a vehicle for it. We strive to create a space where all individuals feel respected, supported, and affirmed in who they are.
The goal isn't to white-knuckle your way to a symptom-free life. It's to gradually build a different relationship with fear and uncertainty — one where anxiety stops running the show.
Relief isn't about trying harder — it's about trying differently. That's what this work is for.
Meet Jaclyn Cronin, MSW, RSW
I take a collaborative and respectful approach, meeting you where you are and tailoring therapy to your needs. I work with children, teens, and adults through both virtual and in-person sessions.
I support clients with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), Tourette syndrome, and related concerns such as body-focused repetitive behaviours (BFRBs), including skin picking and hair pulling. Together, we focus on understanding these patterns and building practical skills to help you feel more in control and confident.
My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Comprehensive Behavioural (ComB) Treatment for BFRBs, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I also incorporate sand tray therapy, which blends elements of play and art therapy, when it fits your goals.

Meet Rylie Foerster, M.ACP.
It can feel exhausting when your mind won’t slow down. When overthinking, self-doubt, or anxiety start to take over, even simple things can feel heavier.
I work with anxiety, perfectionism, and low self-esteem, along with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and related concerns like body-focused repetitive behaviours (BFRBs) and body dysmorphic disorder (BDD). I also support specific fears such as driving anxiety, panic, claustrophobia, and health worries. Together, we focus on understanding what keeps these patterns going and building practical tools to help you feel more grounded, confident, and present.
My approach uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to help you relate differently to difficult thoughts and feelings, so they have less impact on your day-to-day life. The goal is to build flexibility and trust in yourself over time.
